Copper Capillary Tubes – Technical Overview
KAK copper capillary tubes use premium TP2/T2 copper. As a result, they deliver excellent ductility, corrosion resistance, and dimensional precision.
Each tube is individually packed with desiccant and sealed with rubber or silica gel sleeves to prevent oxidation. The product surface is bright, clean, and suitable for long-term storage.
Key Features
✅ High-precision copper tube with consistent inner bore
✅ Clean surface, moisture-proof sealed packaging
✅ Two coil formats: industrial & retail
✅ Excellent corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity
✅ Long shelf life with anti-oxidation protection
Product Type
Two types are available:
• Large Coil Type (for steam & industrial use): each coil is independently packaged, POF shrink-wrapped, with ~20 coils per box (≈20kg).
• Small Coil Type (for maintenance or retail use): each coil weighs about 70–80g, 270 coils per box, neatly packed for easy distribution.
Common Applications
These capillary tubes are widely used in:
• Refrigeration & HVAC system throttling
• Air conditioner expansion control
• Steam & heat exchange equipment
• Capillary flow control in household appliances and lab instruments

FAQ – Copper Capillary Tubes
Q1. What is the KAK Copper Capillary Tube Series?
A1. A high-precision copper capillary tubing range for HVAC/R and steam systems, offered in two formats: Large Coil for industrial/long-run use and Small Coil for maintenance/retail use.
Q2. What’s the difference between Large Coil and Small Coil types?
A2. Large Coil = independently packed industrial coils for longer assemblies; Small Coil = compact rolls for service/maintenance. Both are sealed with end caps and desiccant.
Q3. What are the dimensional tolerances?
A3. Typical: OD ±0.03 mm, ID ±0.02 mm. Length tolerance: ±100 mm (Large Coil) and ±10 mm (Small Coil). Custom tolerances available.
Q4. What material is used?
A4. TP2/T2 deoxidized copper with clean, bright surface and excellent ductility. Other grades on request.
Q5. How are the tubes cleaned and packaged?
A5. Each coil is cleaned, ends are plugged with rubber/silica sleeves, desiccant added, then POF shrink-wrapped to prevent oxidation and moisture.
Q6. What is the typical carton packing?
A6. Large Coil: ~20 coils/carton (~20 kg). Small Coil: ~270 coils/carton (~20 kg). Carton size/count can be adjusted.
Q7. Which refrigerants are compatible?
A7. Suitable for common refrigerants such as R134a, R22, R410A, R32, and hydrocarbons like R290—when used within system pressure/cleanliness requirements.
Q8. Do you support custom sizes and private labeling?
A8. Yes—OD/ID/length, coil weight, marking, and packaging can be customized per drawings/specs.
Q9. Does this product meet ASTM B280?
A9. Capillary tubing is usually supplied to customer drawings/tolerances. Share your project spec and we’ll confirm compliance options or equivalents.
Q10. What are common applications?
A10. Refrigeration throttling lines, air-conditioner expansion control, steam/heat exchange equipment, and lab or appliance flow control.
Q11. What are the MOQ and lead time?
A11. Depend on size and customization. Samples and trial orders are available—send specs for a firm schedule.
